Welcome to the NBFT Digest Bio Page. Here you may get to know us a little better, and possibly put a face to the name. Members of this blog are encouraged to, but not blackmailed to, add a short bio about themselves here.
Revinjim–Admin![]()
Known elsewhere as RevJim, is the blogger at Rev’Jim’s RantsnRaves. To his friends and family he is known as Jim Grady, Jr.
He resides in Colorado Springs, CO, in the beautiful West side neighborhood of Old Colorado City, where he is held hostage by three selfish felines. He claims a profound love for auto racing and is addicted to fan forums, where some people think of him as a “doddering old fart.”
An avid racing fan since the early 1960’s, revinjim considers himself a fan of Tony Stewart, and really needs to travel to Richmond, VA to watch a NASCAR race there in person.
Ovalscream– Screen handle of David Cohea, editor of the NASCAR This Week blog, featuring the motorsports reporting of Monte Dutton. I’ve been a NASCAR fan for several years now, picking up the virus through extended exposure to Monte’s work, which my company helps market. I’m a resident of Central Florida, home of the swamp-addled, beach-frenzied and commute-enraged (sigh). I am also a doddering old fart and also am held hostage by three diva felines (plus their servant queen, my imperious wife), and profess an insane affection for studying old things, gardening, shrieking high-testosterone rock n roll on my iPod at the gym, near nakedness in the summer and Jimmie Johnson. (Apologies for the last two.)
Trixie–aka Amy P., creator of Trixie’s Trailer Park
Exposed to racing at the tender age of 7, rabid NASCAR fan since 1998, card carrying member of Tony Stewart fan club, alum of Texas Tech University, resident of the Great State of Texas (specifically hometown of Buddy Holly and Mac Davis), and the only female in a house full of males–husband(Postman), foster son(Little Smoke–mama is raisin’ him right), and 2 male cats who allow me to live in their world. When NASCAR season is on hiatus, I am a die-hard football fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Tech Red Raiders. My life is chaotic and random at times, but come on over to The Park and enjoy the ride.
Badgroove — aka Amy of Amy’s Badgroove. Amy fell in love with vehicles at the age of 2.5 when she “hepped” her dad by sanding the right rear fender of his brand new Pontiac Sunfire, much to his chagrin. Growing up the Daytona 500 and Indianapolis 500 were treated much the way the Superbowl was in most households and she couldn’t help but fall in love with speed. Like Trixie, Amy too is a card carrying member of the Tony Stewart Fan Club and has been a fan of his since his days in IRL. If there is no NASCAR on TV you can find her watching IRL and NHRA or Grey’s Anatomy. Her day job involves computer support at a small public university in California. She lives on the Central Coast in the home of John Steinbeck with her obstinate beagle Roxy.
Ernhrtfanalwys–aka Antonette, is the creator of Unrestricted: My NASCAR Rants & Raves. I have been a racing fan since the early 80’s and I was and will always be a Dale Sr. fan. I was born and raised in New Jersey where I still reside along with my husband Joey, our cat, Jasmine, our dog, Gunner and lots of fish. I too, am a die-hard football fan of the Dallas Cowboys, but NASCAR has always been my sport of choice. I am also a huge weather buff and want to chase tornadoes with the professionals some day. And last but certainly not least, I am a huge animal lover and will do whatever it takes to make a difference even if it’s one animal at a time.
TrackBunnyFilms – I’m Karah-Leigh, the owner of Diary of a Track Bunny. I’m in my late 20’s, a senior in college who will graduate in December, and the Editor-in-Chief on my college’s newspaper in South Georgia. Unfortunately, there’s no NASCAR in our newspaper. So that means in my free time, I like to write about the sport that I love online, on my blog, and here on NASCAR Bloggers FT. Besides NASCAR, I love celebrity gossip, writing fan fiction, country, pop, and rock music, the Green Bay Packers, and my three cats (Pitty Pat, Phoebe, and Piper). A lot of people ask me why my domain name has “films” in it and I’ll tell you why here. I’m a media major in school and while making movies and other little projects, I came up with “Track Bunny Films” as my production company. I bought the domain name and later started my blog on it. When I graduate college, I hope to move to either Nashville, TN or Charlotte, NC and write sports or entertainment / features for a newspaper or magazine. As long as it deals with NASCAR and celebrities, I’m good.
The Race Kitten Report – You can call me “Kat” or whatever five letter-one syllable name comes to mind. I am a fairly new fan, as I have only been watching for about three years, so my NASCAR knowledge and passion continues to grow every day. Office work during the day pays the bills and the street corner pays for the new racing obsession at night. As you can tell I’m totally sarcastic and love to joke around, so don’t take me seriously and just have fun with me! I do plan on going back to college to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, and maybe even break into the Public Relations field in either the sports or entertainment realms. I started blogging about NASCAR after my personal one became nothing but talking about NASCAR and none of my friends and family are into it as much as I am so I’m glad to be here among friends.
Clance’ McClannahan - My name is Clance’ McClannahan (pronounced Klan’see) and I am the Seer, Prophetess, and Diva Goddess of the LugNutz, Pastor of The Church of the Great Oval. My age is between #48 and #88, I am impatient with ages #2 and #5, most of the time pushing #20. I am an outspoken NASCAR Extreme Fan. I alway have something to say, ranging from 0 -180 and back on the IQ scale, in 6 seconds flat. All of my NASCAR Astro- Predictions are based on the astrological natal charts of each driver. Albert Einstein occasionally channels advice when I least expect it. I am not responsible in any way for anything he says while he is dead. I am also fairly sure there is a conspiracy by Aliens to take over NASCAR. Sassing back is welcomed and encouraged.
The Church of the Great Oval is a NASCAR blog honoring the Sacred Sport of NASCAR, providing general commentary on NASCAR related topics and weekly race predictions based on the Astrological aspects of each race. Prediction and Driver Horoscopes are generated using 12 noon as the approximatec birth time. This allows the closest astrological aspects possible without the actual birth times. All information is technically “Un-official”, and accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
